We are dedicated and loyal Wells County, IN citizens whom prioritize the rights and freedoms of community members that have chosen to live in one of the country’s best farming communities. We take pride in our rich soil, multiple generations of family farms, and a tight-knit community that supports local schools and the preservation of our way of life. Recently, large-scale solar companies have identified small rural communities as potential victims to utility-sized solar projects. Federal tax subsidies are being used as a catalyst and supporting this threat to our land. This website and the “No Solar on Wells County, IN Farm Ground” Facebook group were created to raise awareness, provide information, and unify the community in a strategic plan for protecting our best resource, our land, from foreign and domestic exploiters.
